Driekwartblou Guest House is situated on the banks of the Gariep Dam, and is the perfect stopover on your way to almost anywhere in South Africa.
It has a 180° view of the Dam – the largest in South Africa. Wild antelope, including eland, gemsbok, springbok and black wildebeest, often come right up to the neighbouring nature reserve’s fence, a mere 30 metres from the units.
The four luxurious and modern units, on a working farm, can accommodate up to 12 guests.
Each unit has a private entrance, is en-suite, has DStv and air conditioning as well as a big stoep – perfect for watching the beautiful Karoo sunsets.
With fully equipped kitchens, self-catering is possible, but all meals are also served on request.
Nothing can be more relaxing after a day on the road like dinner by candlelight with the view of the sun setting over the Gariep Dam.
