What began more than ten years ago as an eccentric backyard collection of old cars, signs and sayings in a Northern Cape village, has morphed into one of the region’s top party venues – The Williston Mall.
Pieter and Elmarie Naude are proof positive that one couple can make a huge difference to the place where they live – in their case, a little town called Williston, situated in what people call The Hard Man’s Karoo.
In an area not famous for its frivolity, the ever-creative Naude’s established a guest house, a collection of courtyard shops, a large performance stage and a pub affectionately known as the Doppies Bar.
.The Williston Mall also offers guest house accommodation, on the premises and in various self-cater units around town.
Traveler’s Tip: Book ahead for a visit to the Mall or a stay-over.
